Unfortunately, we have had to cancel this clothes swap because there were not enough confirmed bookings to make it feasible to run. We are sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience.
Give pre-loved clothes a new home at the Threads of Change Clothes Swap, a relaxed community evening hosted by M24 Arts as part of Sustainable Fashion Week 2026.
Bring along good-quality clothing you no longer wear and exchange it for something new-to-you. It’s a simple, sociable way to refresh your wardrobe, keep wearable clothes in circulation and reduce textile waste.

Price: £3 per person
How the swap works
Bring along clean, good-quality, wearable clothing that you’re ready to pass on to somebody else.
When you arrive, your items will be checked in and you’ll receive one swap token for each item accepted.
One token = one item of clothing from the swap.
You can then browse the rails and use your tokens to choose the same number of new-to-you pieces to take home.
There’s no obligation to use all of your tokens, but tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
What can I bring?
Please bring clothing that is:
- Clean and freshly laundered
- In good wearable condition
- Free from stains, strong odours or significant damage
- Something you would be happy to receive yourself
Please do not bring underwear, swimwear, nightwear or clothing that is heavily worn, stained or damaged.
Items that aren’t suitable for the swap may be declined.
The aim is simple: bring something good, find something you love, and keep clothes in circulation for longer.
M24 Arts has a step-free ground floor, ramped access and an accessible side entrance. Parking is available outside.
